EXTRA PROGRAM INFORMATION

EXTRA is a program that offers organized soccer for players in divisions 9U-14U who want to play at a more competitive level!

EXTRA is also a tryout program that gives athletes with the interest and ability, the opportunity to participate in a more progressive soccer experience within the security of an environment featuring AYSO's Six Philosophies:
Everyone Plays - Balanced Teams - Open Registration
Good Sportsmanship - Positive Coaching - Player Development

AYSO EXTRA teams play against other AYSO EXTRA teams and players; this does not take away from the Core program, on the other hand, it adds to the strength of the organization by allowing players to stay within AYSO and play competitively!

Club soccer teams are in place in many parts of the country, but for those who want to play harder and still be a part of AYSO, EXTRA is perfect.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Registration for our Core Program does not require tryouts. Every child that is registered by August 1st will be placed on a team.

(Registrations after August 1st will be placed as space allows).
The Core Program offers competitive post-season Tournament Play including All Stars!

CULVER CITY AYSO REGION 19 EXTRA & ALLIANCE TRYOUTS

Fall 2025-26 season

IMPORTANT
These tryouts are for our EXTRA and ALLIANCE Programs that allows for a more competitive AYSO experience.

Please bring a picture of your child to tryouts, write their name & birth year on the back of the picture!

Arrive early, parents need to check in their player(s) and get an assigned tryout vest prior to taking the field

Make sure your player has plenty of water & wears shin guards!

Players may bring a soccer ball if desired.

At least 1 tryout in your age division must be attended to be eligible for that EXTRA division!!
Players will only be rated for the age division they tryout in.
